comic book news

In a rush many, many months ago, I created a site called comicbooknews.co.uk which as you can tell by the URL, is dedicated to telling news about comic related things. Finally, after having a long Christmas I have redesigned the site to look like it should have done in the first place. Not only does this site make use of the Price Tapestry framework (why not? I figured I should let people know and buy from some great online stores and fulfill their geekiness), but it also makes full use of the admin/blog that I created to be ingregrated into the Price Tapestry framework.

I've taken it even further though, and once I've finished, these changes will be added to the PT Admin/Blog which is available to buy from my portfolio. Some big changes have been made, I wanted it set up so that I could have multipule users who can only edit their own work and not ruin others. I wanted the ability to be able to start writing something but then to be able to go back to it later on to finish if you ran out of time, so there is also the option to draft and publish your blog post. There are still a few things that I'm working on to make it that little bit better, but right now everything that I wanted to do is working beautifully.

The 'Superman' part of the header was drawn up by Philip Horton. I have a full body version, but no where to use it yet... might have to find somewhere on the site for it though.
